Cleveland Modular played a pivotal role in the development of a new well-being hub in Hartlepool, supplying a 44-bay double-storey modular building to Wates Construction for approximately 86 weeks.

Passionate about building a better tomorrow for everybody, Wates required premium on-site offices and welfare spaces to enhance operational efficiency and support staff well-being during construction of the flagship project, commissioned by Hartlepool Council.

The decision to partner with Cleveland Modular was driven by our ability to deliver a superior product tailored to meet the unique needs of this high-profile project.

With 44 bays in total, including balcony units, the final structure featured:

A large canteen/break area with kitchen facilities
Drying room with changing and storage facilities
Open plan office
Multiple meeting rooms of varying sizes
Boardroom with additional kitchen facilities
Wellbeing zone / chill-out area
Toilets

Temporary foundations and emergency lighting were also included as part of the ‘Boost Your Space’ service.

Cleveland Modular offered an enhanced product that suited the needs of Wates to provide an exemplar setup in line with our requirements to create workspaces of the future.

The final build is exceptional. The sense of space due to enhanced floor to ceiling height and glazed internal doors is a really pleasing outcome.
