6-Bay Geological Storage Facility

Cleveland Modular was tasked by Anglo American's Crop Nutrients business to supply welfare facilities as part of the Woodsmith Project, which is the development of a polyhalite fertiliser mine in the North East of England to offer the POLY4 product.

POLY4, which is created from the natural mineral polyhalite, includes many of the nutrients that plants need to grow, and in turn maximises crop yield and minimises waste.

The Woodsmith Mine is being constructed at Whitby, North Yorkshire, whilst a connecting underground tunnel is being built from Wilton in Redcar where the product will be shipped.

The 6-bay, double-storey building provides the Anglo American team with a comfortable base to store, package and deliver samples from mineral and ground investigation drilling to various labs across Europe for testing.  

Expertly positioned within a larger warehouse in Guisborough, the facility features an office, kitchen, drying room and toilet.

Ancillary items supplied as part of our ‘Boost your Space’ service include:

• Air conditioning
• Dehumidifiers to drying rooms
